Notes and events:

* in 1942 - note: Argentina
Memory of Guillermo Erlijman: I remember that Uncle Bernardo did the military service in 1942 and came to the house of Sarmiento 4406 to visit us when they gave him the first free day in the colimba (military service); I think the free day was given because they told him that the father had died; I would say that it was in February 1942 that your mother would have just appeared on the scene.- If these memories were certain, the grandfather (Jaime) would have died in 1942.-
In that visit of Bernardo I heard for the first time the word afanar (snaffle); Bernardo said that in the colimba if they snaffled you something, the snaffled one snaffled someone else to recover what was lost.
