This second photo of Einstein was sent by Abraham Dubin to Albert Einstein from Paris on October 31, 1924, and is located in the Einstein archives at the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton, USA).

On the back, you can read Abraham's message to Einstein:

"Paris, October 31, 924

Dear Professor A. Einstein,
Berlin
It is with the greatest honor and pleasure that I send you the photograph of your excellent person that you so kindly allowed me to take during our trip on the train from Vienna to Innsbruck on September 24, 1924. I would therefore be grateful if I could receive a response, written in your own hand, when it arrives.
This would be a pleasant memory for me.
I greet you with all due respect, your faithful servant
A. Dubin

My address: Mr. A. Dubin
Corrientes 2216
Buenos Aires

I am leaving for Buenos Aires today."

This photo was found by the Austrian journalist Andreas Hauser of the Tirol Magazin.

Andreas contacted me during his research for an article on Einstein's participation in the venue of the German Society of Natural Scientists and Physicists held in Innsbruck in 1924.

That article, as well as another for the University of Innsbruck, are available below in PDF format, thanks to Andreas's kindness.
