The project

Everything began with the idea of building my family's ancestry tree.
But then it became in a much bigger project, trying to rebuild its history, its lifestyle and evolution, as well as finding other branches of the family which stayed in Europe or emigrated to other countries.

Therefore, it is no longer a ancestry tree but genealogical net and so it si difficult even to title it. I finally decided to name it Genealogy of the family Erlijman-Parkansky, even when it includes many other families such us Schwarzberg, Zukerman, Dubin, Ferdman, Sitcoff, etc.

Regarding the number or persons and relations (about 500 in the database up today) it's impossible to show the whole tree at once. That's why it's necessary to iniciate navigation by selecting one particular person.
I've also added a search engine to allow an easier access through keywords.

The information collected here till now was given by relatives (most of them living in Argentina), there are also some data from argentine immigration records.
Unfortunately, prior generations didn't care about this issue and most of the info is lost or very hard to find. Parents didn't talk much to its sons and those didn't ask. In Argentina immigration records are not computerized, lots have disappeared and it is hard to find things on those still existing, mainly due to the few data we've got for the search.

Through sites such us JewishGen, I've been able to contact possible relatives across the world but till now we've had no luck to find relations, in several cases because of the lack of information about previous generations. That's why I hope to travel to Bessarabia in the future to try to get it.

Of course, any collaboration or information you could give will be gratefully welcomed.

And most of all, I want to thank to all the relatives, close or not, who have collaborated with data and documents. Without them, this couldn't have been possible.
