Ending World War II she was head of the National People Records (government organisation in charge of issuing ID Cards) in San Vicente, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. She make use of her position to issue, secretely, argentine documentatation to hundreds of european jewish, escaped from the war and introduced illegaly in Argentina.
The refugees entered in the People Records building at night, accompanied by jewish activists who brought them from Europe in "ghost ships". Without these documentation they would have been returned to Germany. * in 1956 - place: Venezuela, Caracas
